Born To Be Loved Natural Childbirth  Faith Morie, CPM                                                                                  - Certified Professional Midwife -                                                                                            Serving Eastern and Central Oklahoma                                                                                      www.borntobelovedbirth.blogspot.com                                                                                                            (918) 284-3609                                                                                          withfaithnothingisimpossible@gmail.com                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Being the oldest of 10 children, my life has always been filled with babies.  Seven of my brothers and sisters were born at home with midwives, so birth and  midwives have always been a normal and important part of my life.                                                                                                                                             In 2004, I began my formal study of midwifery through the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program.  Through this program I received my academic training.  For the clinical aspect of my skills, I apprenticed with experienced, certified midwives.  All together in my training, I had the privilege of working under and cross-training with fourteen different midwives at two natural birthing centers, as well as in home-birth practices.                                                                                                                                   I finished my training in 2007, but because I was teaching music full time, I did not start my own midwifery practice right away.   Instead, I did births for friends, as well as cover for other midwives from time to time.  But in the last year, my midwifery has taken on new dimensions.                                            For the past six months I have been living in Israel and assisting a natural, home-birth Israeli midwife.  This midwife not only has been doing births for over 30 years, she was also instrumental in getting home-birth established, accepted and legalized in Israel.  I really enjoyed working with her, as well as having the privilege of seeing new life be born in the Promised Land.  Also while in Israel, I had the opportunity to volunteer at an Arabic clinic, as well as in a Jerusalem hospital – both of which were interesting learning experiences – clinically and culturally.                                                                                                                                          I feel privileged to have trained, assisted and worked with more than twenty midwives from different backgrounds and experiences.  I have also been privileged to have assisted in the deliveries of women from many different cultures - including American, Mexican, English, Russian, Israeli and Palestinian.  I am grateful to God for giving me the awesome privilege of helping to guide new life into the world.  Every time I see a baby born, I get to see a miracle.  How could it get any better than that…?                                                                            Certifications and Statistics: Nationally certified through NARM (North American Registry of Midwives) as a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife).  Nationally certified in CPR and NRP for the Health Care Provider.  I have been primary midwife or assisted with over 130 births.                                                                       For more information, please visit my website at    www.borntobelovedbirth.blogspot.com      If you have questions, or to schedule a free consultation visit, please contact me at (918) 284-3609 or  withfaithnothingisimpossible@gmail.com   I look forward to serving you and your new little one ~                          ...I will praise Thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made...
