I am an independent homebirth midwife serving Topeka, KS, and surrounding areas. I offer full prenatal care, birth at home, and postpartum care. I became interested in midwifery after my first son was born at home in 2001. Since then, I have completed an AS in Midwifery from The National College of Midwifery, obtained my certification as a Certified Professional Midwife (2005), worked in an apprenticeship setting, as well as attended a busy birthing clinic in El Paso, TX. As a CPM, I practice according to the Midwives Model of Care. Women deserve to birth respectfully, healthfully, and peacefully, and I strive to offer this to my clients. In addition, I attended the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY, and hold a New York State license as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
